One of the factors that makes a country the powerful against other countries is the development level of its defense industry. While the defense industry is highly developed in our country, it continuously grows against internal and external factors. Pioneering the international military training and cooperation, security and defense industry technologies, GMKA Defense acts in accordance with the legal regulations, in a planned and programmed manner. In this sense, it has the capabilities to offer consultancy services to national and international companies that provide military services.
The essence of GMKA consulting is that members of the armed forces provide support to their foreign counterparts in the form of training, consultancy, mentoring, coaching and the like in order to increase their skills and professionalism. What GMKA provides ranges from large-scale operations in war-time conditions to smaller advisory activities in peacetime, as in many regions around the world.

Today, international security problems threaten individuals, societies, states and the entire globe. All these security agents tend to feel secure, that is, free from potential threats. The most important questions that come to the fore in security studies can be expressed as “Security for whom or what?”, “Security against what?”, “Security against which threats?” and “How will security be ensured?” International security studies, one of the most important subfields of international relations discipline, has been in a constant change and transformation in terms of the actors and issues it focuses on while seeking answers to these questions. There are various national, regional and international actors that influence the field of international security. While the state continues to be the main actor of international security, non-state actors, intergovernmental and non-governmental international organizations, individuals, transnational criminal organizations and terrorist organizations operating at the international level appear as the most important actors addressed in international security studies. GMKA focuses on both the theoretical dimensions of international security and current international security issues. Accordingly, while examining the traditional international security problems, it also carries out studies that deal with the ‘new’ international security threats, the effects of which began to be felt mainly with the end of the Cold War.

Since the vast majority of defense projects are classified projects, the facilities where these projects are carried out and the personnel working in the projects must work in accordance with the industrial security principles determined by the state.
Unlike other sectors, the Ministry of National Defense’s directive on defense industry security, which consists of various rules specific to the defense sector, must be known at the company employee level. In accordance with this directive, companies prepare their own “Facility Private Security Handbook” documents, publish in-house directives and instructions, and inform the personnel on matters of direct concern.

NATO is an international military alliance established on the basis of the North Atlantic Treaty signed by 12 countries on April 4, 1949 with 18 more countries joining at different periods.
