Image Analysis

IMAGE ENHANCEMENT AND EXAMINATION

Image examination is the process of conducting technical analysis on photographs and videos that will be used in forensic processes.
Images obtained from sources such as (bank security cameras, traffic cameras, building security cameras, mobile phone cameras, professional or compact digital cameras) are now considered evidence and accepted as proofs, encountered everywhere.

If necessary for examinations, image enhancement or restoration of the existing image, alterations made to the original (assembly or manipulation), detection of specific traces, object and person comparison, and similar processes are carried out. In some cases, it may also be necessary to examine and explain the integrated audio and visuals of a specific process.
The determination of whether manipulation has occurred on images examined through forensic copying is carried out using the following methods.

Video Analysis: Reporting all movements occurring in the video second by second. This process will be your greatest ally in legal proceedings.

Image Technical Examination: Technical examination of the images you will present in the case file during forensic processes is conducted to detect any technical changes on the file. Our expert team and equipment perform this determination.

Image Enhancement: For images where image examination and analysis are not feasible, image enhancement is performed to facilitate diagnosis on the image.

Image Comparison: Comparing objects, individuals, or crime scenes in two different images and reporting the findings.

Steganography Examination: If there are any hidden data within the image, it is uncovered.

Forensic Image Record Analysis involves the examination of these records using specialized programs and software codes to present them as evidence to relevant forensic or administrative units.
