MONITORING AND PROTECTION
Aerostat Systems (Balloon)
• Terrorist activities, infiltrations and differences in the region can be analyzed thanks to the balloons to be positioned.
• The balloon can be easily managed by a team of 6-8 people.
• Integrated into the product;
–Weapon and laser systems,
–Different types of cameras,
–Different types of sensors and radar systems,
–Electronic signal acquisition and analysis systems,
–Air-to-air microwave communication systems can be used.
• Information can be stored and analyzed thanks to its own database.

• In the coverage area thanks to the network infrastructure online information can be collected and shared from
–Other balloons,
–Road and outpost camera systems,
–Terrestrial sensors,
–TAFICS (Turkish Armed Forces Integrated Communication System) connection,
–Military convoys
• Positioning can be made at different altitudes and sizes according to the needs.
–Length: 9.5 m – 35 m
– Diameter: 3 m – 11.9 m
– Useful load: 15 kg – 1014 kg
– Flight altitude (above sea level): 610 m – 4000 m

Cameras that can be mounted on the balloon:

Hyperspectral Camera
• Hyperspectral Imaging System
–Anomaly can be detected.
–Material / chemical can be identified, camouflage can be detected.
– Disturbed earth can be detected.
– It shows the gas emission and temperature differences of generators stationed under the snow.
– After the results obtained from the system are processed, they are geo-recorded and converted into sensitive location information.
–Can be positioned on UAV or balloon.

Examples of automated hyperspectral imaging results for vehicle and route tracking:
– Disturbed ground detection at upper left
– Anomaly detection at upper right
– Material identification map at lower left
– Rendered and geo-rectified hyperspectral imaging at lower right
• Monitoring and Protection: When done with topology, all cameras and surveillance tools can be managed from a common system and monitoring can be performed more efficiently.
• In addition, situating the cameras above the high voltage lines is intended to minimize the possibility of damage.
• Communication can be achieved via air-to-air microwave technology / GSM / LTE or Tetra systems.
Example 1
– Suitable for stationary mast-top use
– Human identification distance 650 m, vehicle identification distance 1.75 km
– IP or analog operation
–640×480 image quality

Example 2: Cooled Thermal Camera
– Suitable for pan-tilt mast-top use
– Human identification distance: 2.9 km
– Vehicle identification distance: 6 km
– Thermal imaging camera for medium and long range performance with medium wave cooled detector
– Optical and electronic zoom feature in thermal camera
– 36x optical zoom feature CCD camera
–Medium wave infrared 560×512 (MWIR) detector
–Communication can be achieved via air-to-air microwave technology / GSM / LTE or Tetra systems.

Example 3
– Suitable for pan-tilt mast-top use
–HRC series includes thermal and daytime cameras
–16x continuous zoom
–Autofocus feature
–HRC E human and vehicle identification distance: 7.3 km
– Communication can be achieved via air-to-air microwave technology / GSM / LTE or Tetra systems.

MONITORING AND PROTECTION
Seismic Detection Kits (Option 2)
These kits can detect people moving within a radius of 30 m and vehicles moving within a radius of 100 m. Seismic Detection Kits can communicate among each other and determine the direction in which the target is headed.
Integration and triggering with local PTZ cameras is possible along with target detection. By means of the network, the surveillance unit can turn all the cameras to the warning direction.
The Disadvantage of the System: Due to the vibration difference between hard ground and soft ground, the radius of action may decrease according to the soil structure of the region.
