Unmanned Systems

In the field of unmanned systems, GMKA is committed to adding unmanned vehicles equipped with up-to-date technologies to its portfolio with its past experience in order to meet the needs of our country, especially in the defense field. The design and production of prototypes that can move autonomously, be controlled remotely, and transfer data and images to ground control systems, and the integration of the unique algorithms developed afterward are being completed. Thus, it is planned that these systems will have swarm intelligence that allows them to be controlled together. The platform is designed in an independent structure, taking into account the generic approaches of the software architectures of these systems.

Unmanned aerial, land, surface, and underwater vehicles have offensive and defensive capabilities. On the other hand, they have significantly improved the operational capability of many non-lethal applications. Unmanned systems can have no failures. These systems depend on a fast, precise arrangement of control surfaces, sensors, tracking, weapon, and weight. Furthermore, UGVs and UUVs must have the same level of precision in traction control, propulsion, video system, articulated shifting, and more.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND RELIABLE SOLUTIONS
  • UAVs need to be small and light to remain airborne for a long time and escape when necessary.
  • UGVs and UUVs must be capable of performing complex movements in confined spaces and difficult conditions.
  • They must be compact, lightweight, energy-efficient components that can react instantly and sensitively to adverse weather conditions.
  • On the other hand, platform size must support weight and power coefficient at the same time.

As the scale and duration of unmanned missions increase, the reliability of systems becomes more critical. You can rely on GMKA’s solutions to deliver the performance you expect whenever you need it.

GMKA is on its way to becoming the global supplier of choice for defense systems. We focus on meeting the specific requirements of demanding military applications where reliability is the foundation of our safe motion systems and collaborative engineering skills. In a world of rapidly evolving technologies for unmanned systems with absolutely no room for error, we continue to innovate and grow to meet ever-changing motion needs.

With image processing algorithms supported by various methods, studies are also carried out on providing unmanned systems with features such as mapping in open areas, target detection, marking and coordinated attack through area scanning in swarms.

With the swarm approach to unmanned systems, awareness-raising customizations such as field scanning, environment interpretation and mapping are made with sensor fusion capability. Our R&D activities continue to provide these specialized systems with the ability to navigate in closed environments.

Among the studies carried out within GMKA in the field of unmanned systems, GMKA focuses on the unmanning of manned systems that are already in use in the civil/military field and have proven successful. In this way, all transformation activities that will reduce the operational risks of manned systems and enable them to be used more efficiently are completed within the body of GMKA, and it is aimed to proceed to the qualification processes after the prototype realization activities.
